What Humbul handles
Depending on the features you choose, Humbul may handle your name, account identifier, profile preferences, habit logs, goals, meals, hydration, workouts, sleep summaries, purchase status and content you submit for analysis.
How information is used
Information is used to provide app functionality, synchronize your account, personalize habit guidance, analyze meals you request, maintain Premium access, prevent abuse and let you review progress. Humbul does not use this information for cross-app tracking or sell personal data.
Apple Health
Apple Health access is optional and controlled by Apple’s permission system. Supported Health data is used to provide requested wellness features. Humbul does not use Health data for advertising or sell it to data brokers.
AI-assisted features
Meal text, meal photos and limited relevant context you submit may be sent securely to Humbul’s backend and an AI processing provider to return an estimate or requested guidance. Meal photos are not intentionally stored in your Humbul cloud profile after analysis. AI output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed.
Services involved
Firebase provides authentication, abuse protection, cloud functionality and account storage. Google processes requested AI analyses. Apple provides HealthKit, Sign in with Apple and App Store subscriptions. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy commitments.
Retention and deletion
Account information is retained while your Humbul account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can permanently delete your account and associated cloud data from Profile → Account & Data. Deleting Humbul does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.
Your choices
You may use supported features without granting every optional permission. You can change Apple Health permissions in the Health app, manage subscriptions through Apple and delete your Humbul account from the app.
Children
Humbul is not directed to children and is not offered as a children’s app.

For privacy questions, use the Humbul support page. Do not submit sensitive health or authentication information through a public GitHub issue. Material policy changes will appear here with a revised effective date.
